Hi everyone,

My beloved soni headphones have fallen apart, and I'm now looking for new ones. Here are my requirements:
1) I'm aiming for them to be under 100 dollars, if possible, unless you know of a pair that everyone on this planet should own.
2) They must be comfortable to wear. Ideally, I'd like to be able to lie down with them on, but I also don't want the sound quality to be comprimised simply because I can lay with them. Comfort is a big deal, though.
3) Excelent sound and bass quality.
4) I cannot use conventional hard-plastic earbuds, so the apple ipod/iphone ones are out. They simply fall out of my ears.
5) it'd be wonderful if they could fold for easy storage while travelling.
Ok, recommend away. Thanks in advance, guys!

try the boes triports or sound cancelling. They are a bit pricey if you get the higher end ones, butthey are completely worth it. the triports have as much base as real speakers, and they are comfortable to lie down with, although lying on your side is a bit difficult. They can fold for travelling with the simple removal of a couple screws, and are simple to put back together. You can get on ear, or around the ear. I prefer the around the ear. That would be my suggestion, you can't go wrong with those.

I use klipsch earbuds. love them. I have a pair special for the iphone so you can change the song and volume and stuff. but they have pairs with out that to. They stay in great for me and I have no problems laying down with them on. sound great to. just look up klipsch. I'm pretty sure that's how you spell it, but that will bring it up at least. They have all different prices. and they do have a life time garentee so if they break no worries

You can't go wrong with the senheisser hd437's, they're cheap. I payed fifty bucks for mine, and the quality is excelent, hell anything senheisser is top quality, from a company who's specialty is studio quality equipment.

Skullcandy makes a pset of noise canceling I believe are in the $40 range. Extremely light weight, and great sound. I use a set of them when playing as an in ear, and the bass comes through great as well as the mids and trebble.

Koss products are quite good as well. You can even buy their stuff on their website at www.kosscorporation.com

Little mistake on the address, that's www.koss.com to visit their official website. I've used koss products since 1986, and they're top quality!

These Koss can be had for $30 on amazon. I also like Sony MDI NC40's they can be had for $45 plus shipping also on amazon. The Koss might be a bit difficult to lay with, because they are on the back of your head, but the Sony's are regular. List on the Sony's is 99 and on the Koss 49, but as I say they can be had for less plus shipping about $6. Both folded easy, and both have the soft pads instead of going around your ears. Sony are also noise canceling and the switch can be on or off and they still work great.

Thanks, guys. I definitely have a lot to look into. I'm probably going to head to Future Shop or Best Buy and try on a few pairs, because its really frustrating to purchase something without knowing how it looks/feels. Thanks again!
